Assuming canelo fought mayweather for a paycheck (which I don't believe), how does that take away from him stepping up and fighting the #1 p4p fighter in the world? You can't discount his willingness to fight anyone, even if he did it for money. Calling him a duck is simply foolish, he risked his undefeated record and stardom to fight mayweather. Why would he duck a cuban fighter who was fighting on FNF not to long ago? It's way too premature to call him a duck at this point, maybe if 2014 ends and he doesn't fight Lara you can maybe say that. Until then, let the young lion get his tune-up fight in, and let him do him.

But i completely agree with you on this post, his career has been a joke i find it very disrespecfull when stuff like this happens because i know so many other fighters that have made their careers the hard way and its just not fair. Canelo could pull it off the hard way too, but what do they do, they just feed him with easy matches and hype him up.

When people note Lara's complications with Angulo are they taking into consideration the tiny ring , the soft mat , and someone sneaking a no rehydrate clause for no more than 10lbs on fight night ,only for Lara. He was set up to lose and he still pulled it off . That's three things against him .
But it's easy to say Lara barley escaped.
