    Trolls....

Canelo was hit a handful of times in that entire fight. It was a very technical fight with Mayweather just outclassing him.

Rios was battered for 12 rounds and didn't give a ***.

Canelo's bro has the same tat...that's a group fail..very rare in the sport of boxing...

Pretty sure that was his brother that got the tattoo, not Canelo himself.

A fine point in general terms Dunn...but you're not suggesting Nelo took a bad beating ('cept to his self esteem)?

I don't even have a particular interest in either fighter and don't see the point in the thread but the answer's pretty obvious in this case, whatever the value of the question.

I thought Canelo composed himself quite well for a 23 year old going against one of the best ever. His strategy wasn't ideal and he wasnt able to make adjustments but you could see him working and actually trying to win.

Rios of course, but that only because he was fighting pac who is an offensive go getter, while canelo was outboxed and slapped around by defense 1st mayweather. i do have to give may credit though, he stood in the pocket the most ive seen since his hatton fight, but then again, hatton was a '40lber

Rios took the worst beating physically. Had an offensive fighter make contact on him all night.

Canelo took the worst beating mentally. Built up to be the 'one' to beat Floyd, ended up being picked apart pretty straightforwardly.

                    rios got it worse...

                    physically:

I don't remember canelo eating 4-5 hard flush shots in a row from floyd almost every round for 12 rounds..

                    and mentally:

I don't recall canelo breaking down in tears like rios did after the loss either...rios trained his butt off for pacquiao and was rightfully very upset that he couldn't pull off the win. he didn't come to collect a paycheck or already accepted defeat before the fight.
