Why would GBP waste their time building up a fighter who isn't marketable and that will never be a star?He and Molina are basically in thesame boat except that Molina actually does speak English,you can only do so much for a fighter that isn't marketable,they've provided him with title eliminators,fights against top fighters in his division and a television platform.You can't make a fighter a star,you can only put them in advantageous situations and hope that they take advantage of them by looking good.

Him not speaking English only matters to a point but hell Canelo doesn't speak a lot of English and they made him a big hype machine. If you put Canelo in with the guys that Lara has beat he would never have had the hype to begin with because he would have gotten beaten already. Lara has a small fan base because there aren't nearly as many Cubans who are here in the US and since we don't do anything politically with Cuba they don't get the support from Cuba because they had to defect to come here in the first place. Canelo was lucky that his looks and him beating cans in Mexico gave him such a big Mexican fan base or else he would have gotten his ass kicked fighting tough LMW opponents and nobody would be talking about him now. But the good thing is that after Angulo KO's him the hype train will officially be over. I hope Angulo beats him because he had to come up the hard way without anybody giving him **** while Canelo was pretty much given and belt and fame and huge paydays off of hype and looks.

Yeah because canelo speaks perfect English. So did angulo a guy they're pushing a lot more than Lara. everyone knows the best way to become a star is by fighting and beating the best. Yes, speaking English does help, but that's not the reason he's not a star.

Molina is gonna ruin this kid and make'em look like an amateur thats what he does. Its not a boring style no style is boring unless youre a casual or whose never boxed or both. Yes i do like watching Lara and all them Cubans Abril, Rigondeaux etc.

I really hope Molina catches a big break, the dude has payed more than his fair share of dues.

Have you seen the Charlo's fight? They're not much different than Lara.
