I never said he hated canelo and it's not like he has gone on these shows just to criticize canelo. He's given his opinions on canelo and simply he's never spoken highly of him. It more so David faitelson, and Juan Manuel marquez who have been critical and tend to talk down canelos abilities.

Only way it would be acceptable is if they move the Mares rematch to the undercard as well as have Matthysse or Victor Ortiz's comeback fight as well.
Will be a good action fight but Canelo will win this one, most likely by late KO.

I don't care if their mommas hate each other... this is not a PPV matchup at all. Again, this is a horrible new model they are trying to force onto us where most "decent" fights (which usually ended up on HBO BAD / SHOBOXING) end up on PPV.

We CANNOT accept this and we have to stand united thru this. They attempted it with Maidana-Broner and they are trying their luck again.

This is horrible for us fans and the sport. How will you try to sell me the PPV that features a guy who just got outclassed in embarrassing fashion against another non-PPV fighter who ALSO lost his last bout? Do you guys get how horrible this is?

This is a no-no. Let's keep things fair, treat the fans right and they will respond when the right fights do end up on PPV.

DG on the undercard of Canelo vs Angulo...who r we kidding here? Dude's the undisputed LWW champion, he's more accomplished than Canelo how r u gonna put him on the undercard of his comeback fight...**** that. I can see Matthysse or someone being on it tho, of course this on its own is not that big of an event.

Because it's great exposure? DG's fanbase is mostly on the east coast, he can build a presence in the west and southwest by fighting in sold out areas (that he obviously wouldn't sell out on his own) by fighting under Canelo's ppv events. If he's ever going to be a main attraction in Vegas, he has to start building a fanbase there imo. Or he could keep highlighting cards in Atlantic City or Barclays and have all the philly ricans buying most of the seats lol.

There's more to boxing than resumes.
