Roberto Duran Vs Manny Pacquiao? Who has the better Resume?

I've made threads regarding some of todays favorites Mayweather, GGG, Martinez and etc, how does Pacquiao's resume go up against a ATG?

I love Duran but I don't think Manny would ever quit against anybody no matter if he's being dominated. That really hurt Durans legacy.
      NO MAS!

Duran's wins over Leonard and Barkley >>>

        1. Sugar Ray Leonard
        2. Iran Barkley
        3. Ken Buchanan
        4. Esteban De Jesus II
        5. Esteban De Jesus III
        6. Carlos Palomino
        7. Hiroshi Kobayashi
        8. Ernesto Marcel
        9. Davey Moore
        10 . Pipino Cuevas

only thing Manny might have on Duran is getting ko'd

No more than getting outboxed and knocked the **** out by a geriatric lightweight hurts Pacquiao's legacy.

Since these last weeks have been so boxing deprived. I've been rewatching some classic fights from the past, I've rewatched Duran vs Leonard 1 and Barkley vs Duran. Roberto was truly great, such a tough sob and the best chin I've ever seen on a fighter. As great as manny p was in his prime, I believe Duran would walk threw Mannys flurries and get the ko, however Mannys resume is truly great with morales,Mab,Marquez, cotto,Hatton, margarito,de la Hoya,Mosley. Mannys is better. Maybe I'm biased cuz mannys more my generation then duran.

Duran, Pacquiao's resume isn't much better than Floyd's really.

I give slight edge to duran,, both are obvious greats

Duran was a lightweight kingpin, plus his win over SRL is better than any win manny has,,
Manny has outstanding wins over jmm, MAB, EM, hatton, cotto, margs, but i think Duran takes it with his longevity and the SRL win
That would be like manny beating floyd

Doesn't mean we can't discuss the two great, great fighters. Duran was the fierce warrior of the 70s while Pacquiao was THE MAN of the 00s.

Durans jump up to welter to beat arguably the greatest welter ever is w in worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as Ali/Foreman, Douglas/Tyson, Hops/Trinidad and so on.

Pacquiao had one of the greatest runs in boxing history, beating Led, Barrera, JMM, Morales, Oscar, Cotto....compared to Durans exceptional run at lightweight and then great wins above his comfort zone.

I'd edge the resume to Duran (Seriously, a middleweight title win at 5'6'' and starting a career at 135). But the No Mas severely hurts him (could be unforgivable) and getting obliterated by Hearns so quick...then again Pac has the early KO losses and JMM.

Both men are fairly similar when you look at it though Pac has ZERO quit in him. You have to lay him out for him to end a fight.
