As noted earlier Dave Parris is due for a shout. The way he handled the Chisora-Scott bout was sensational. Saving Scott from punishment was an unselfish act, one more punch, had he continued, could have spelt disaster for Malik.
OP; you would not believe this.
It is as if the stars were aligned and all the greatest boxing officiators in the history of the sport had convened together working in unison on the same bout.
According to boxrec, the Chisora-Scott fight was judged by no other than Phil Edwards, Howard John Foster and Terry O'Connor.
It is a miracle these men managed to come together and work the on night and the same same fight.

Reason: Edit:Butchered Phil Edwards with Dave Parris. Phil was the ref and Dave the judge. Point stands about Dave being added lol

I'm glad you joined in, ****, but you need to check again - Phil Edwards, the FIRST ENTRY in this list - reffed that fight. The others were acting as judges.
Terry is my favorite out of all, the way he cared for Cleverly's well being was inspirational to watch. All referees should carry themselves like this man does.
Get the horn section playing something inspirational and see if there's a dry eye left in the place. Heart-warming loyalty.
To be fair, Dave Parris only stops fights early when he's got a late shift in the cab. It ain't easy being a cabbie and scoring a four round fight correctly.
