The fight was exhilarating imo. There were knock downs, head butts, butt humps, etc. An undefeated fighter lost his "0" and another revived his career. It's clear that Maidana can hurt broner (possibly KO him), and Maidana is very easily hit. That alone would make for an excellent rematch. It could also effectively end Broner's chance of ever becoming a ppv fighter. There is still high-stakes in a rematch.
If Maidana can't get a mayweather match or another big name at 147, why not fight broner again?

Broner's not seeing the big picture here, Maidana's is the absolute last face he wants to see when he's looking at his opponent across the ring. If he loses a rematch (which he will) it could potentially be more devastating than his first loss. I don't know who's pumping this kid up but all they're doing is setting him up for a series of ass whippings.
Broner's got the shoulder roll of a slaughtered pig and it shows.

This is so funny !!!!!!
If they do it again, Maidana should get the bigger money !!!
This might be a ploy from his bigger brother to keep from having to fight Maidana !
Does this mean during the ring walk we won't or we Will get to see him Rap throwing his head back and doing the vibration, hahahahahaha
That is so funny to watch hahahahaha
The contrast between him coming and leaving was Hilarious !!!!!!

When i saw Broner get hit with that shot in the first me and my fam laughed. Every time i see that punch when i rewatch the fight i think about Ryu's forward medium punch overhead.Last edited by Mister Wolf; 01-09-2014, 07:32 PM.

Contrary to popular opinion of skipping maidana; and going to lower division, which is probably the most suitable action for broner, after the humiliating beatings he had in his last fight. Even floyd is suggesting it boldly to just skip maidana and forget the cowardice brand the people will give to him; he will get use to it somehow after a long while; just like his big bruh, and then, to put icing on the cake; he then, suggested to be in his undercard for maximum exposure that will help rebuild his career, sounds fantastic and appears caring, hmm..(but really, what's behind it, is another self-serving interest that will greatly benefit the existing most avaricious boxer of all time.) with broner a bonafide, main event guy on floyds undercard, it could really help him once again appear so big in PPV result, which he will use against other future opponent to belittle them, and feed his ego, in which so far, has way over in his head this days.
Nevertheless, this is very smart for floyd, if he could get broner to agree with that proposition. This is also good for fans or PPV buyers who always seemed to get short-changed to floyds fights, at least they get to see and enjoy a good undercard, unlike the top rank promotion, who is known to put together the worst undercards in the history of boxing.
I am enthralled by his decision; although not yet final, but nevertheless, sounds sincere enough, to be fighting maidana in a rematch. Because if he really wants to be great, he needs to fight against the odds; defy people who, already branded him as not good enough, prove them wrong!
Great men are known to die trying, they're bold and and thus usually favored by the gods. And if they didn't succeed; well at least, they can rest in peace knowing they did their very best, exhausted all his resources and the most important thing is: "He can then elevated himself against losing, because what is worst than losing is not TRYING." And that is the mark of a true aspiring great men.

I commend Broner for his courage however I feel that what he doesn't seem to realize is that he had trouble handling Maidana's power and I'm not sure that he will fair any better in that department. I've seen fights where a guy got out hustled and this fight was anything but one of those instances.
