  • Comments Thread For: Nobuhiro Ishida Targets a Division Move To Heavyweight

Former interim junior middleweight world champion and current WBA # 2 ranked Japanese middleweight Nobuhiro Ishida (25-9-2, 10KOs, 38 years old and Green Tsuda Boxing Gym Osaka City) has an ambitious desire to take action in the heavyweight division in Japan in search of new horizons.

What a strange turn of events. Let's assume he comes in for fights somewhere in the 170's. That still leaves 25 pounds or so he's giving up to opponents unless he goes on a weight gain program.

Wait so he enjoyed getting knocked out that much that he almost certainly wants it to happen every fight by moving up into 200+ lbs division?
Man this guy ain't thinking straight, GGG killed his senses.

I can't imagine the Japanese heavyweight scene is that strong, perhaps he'll have some domestic success
