Comments Thread For: Warren Targets Fury vs. Chisora Rematch For June

Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora have been set on collision course for a stadium showdown in June after Chisora's promoter Frank Warren announced he has agreed a deal to set up a big-money rematch between the heavyweight pair.

Fury, who is still promoted by Mick Hennessy, will fight on the same bill as Chisora at the Copper Box in London on February 15 with a view to the pair squaring off later in the year if both are successful on the night.

Fury beat Chisora on points in July 2011 to take his British and Commonwealth titles but has since suffered frustration after two consecutive bouts against now-retired rival David Haye fell through.

you do know that Chisora is ranked higher than fury in all of the top 4 Orgs boxing rankings right Derek Chisora,:WBC#6 WBA#14,IBF#7,WBO#2
Tyson Fury: WBC#8,WBA Not Ranked, IBF Not ranked for skipping his final eliminator match with Kubrat Pulev and trying to fight Haye which never happened, WBO#6, so really Fury will benefit more from fighting Chisora than Chisora will from fighting Fury because he is already higher ranked in all of the top 4 and he is the #2 WBO so he really does not even need to fight fury to get a title shot.

I agree. Great fight. Fury's in a lot better shape too. So should be interesting. Del Boy's greater activity recently could be a factor. Wouldn't be surprised if either man won.

EBU title gets you up in WBC rankings and Fury is ranked 8 after fighting 50 eliminators. He should go with the IBF route. This fight does nothing for his career.

i beleive chisora is more of a draw than the *****.
why? he has fought (although lost gave a good account of himself against the bigger and better of the klits which is more than the *****) whereas the *****.........cunningham...blown up cruiser?
a fat ***** thats all he is until he fights a world level opponent he will have zero credibilty anywhere.
                thats a fact daddy!:bukkake:

its ludicrous that chisora is ranked higher than fury. theyre penalizing fury for haye pulling out on him twice. chisora still needs fury more than fury needs him. fury already beat him for christ sakes. rankings are bs anyway
