This is not surprising. It seems Guerrero overestimates his drawing power, but he perfectly understands his chances against the GBP stable.
I'm sure TR is in on this. They're desperate for higher end talent at welter.

Looks like they are trying to rebuild pac by fighting and beating guerrero more impressively than mayweather.

Schaefer says Guerrero's people are being overly protective....How can he say that when Guerrero jumped up two weight classes after a long layoff to fight the guy from Turkey who was a top rated welterweight at the time. That doesn't seem overly protected to me. Guerrero took big risks taking on the Turk.
Everyone thought Ghost was going to loose that fight and he proved them wrong. He did the same with Berto.
By the way Guerrero did better against Mayweather on the scorecards then Ricky Hatton, Diego Corrales, Victor Ortiz, Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Carlos Baldamir and Zap Judah. Not bad for the smallest guy Floyd has ever fought being that he once fought at 122. Go look for yourself at Floyd's boxrec
Guerrero in my opinion is an elite fighter. Bring on Pacquiao!!

If guerrero can somehow get out of his contract (I'm sure bob is scouring it for any way out) relations btw gbp and tr will hit an even lower low...

Okay tards, explain this. Floyd verbally said he wont so business with arum or fight pac until he leaves top rank. But top rank, by thier actions, are doing the same thing to Guerrero. Why cant the ghost just stay with Golden Boy and fight Pac? If floyd is a coward for verbally saying his demand, then arum is equally a coward for doing the same thing BY HIS ACTIONS.
On the business side, i aint mad at the ghost. Its clearly a business move. The only thing is TR is short on welterweights and he might have burned his bridge with GB. At the same time.he might be trying to take over his own career. But there is no justification by the tard community.

In some ways its a smart move.
He just made $3M to fight Floyd.
There is no chance he is getting a rematch. He didn't perform well in the fight and there are at least half a dozen guys in front of him: Khan, Maidana, Thurman, Broner, Garcia, Matthyssee, etc.
And while there are a lot of good fights to be made, is he really going to make more than a couple hundred grand for any of them?
But, Top Rank has pretty much run out of opponents for Pac and Bradley. Rios and Alvarado have flamed out. Other than Provodnikov and JMM, who is there?
And there are rumors that they are going to be free agents over the next year. A move to Golden Boy, especially for Bradley, could be likely.
So, Guerrero has no options for million dollar paydays at Golden Boy. But, if he were to move to Top Rank or to an HBO friendly promoter, he would probably be near the head of the line for a multi million dollar payday with either Pac or Bradley.

If he needs money that bad he could even move up to 154 to lose to Canelo and collect a paycheck.
GBP has about 5-6 fights that could get Guerrero $200,000-500,000 or maybe even more.
But I guess he just wants one $2-3 million dollar payday.
