    Andre Berto vs. Demetrius Andrade

Since Demetrius won the vacant belt he has some negotiating power, but he won against Vanes. If he were to fight Berto and win, I think his stock would go up and HBO could push his name even more. Berto lost the last couple of times, but he's still a name and I think most people would favor him against the younger Andrade even thought he would be moving up in weight. What do you guys think. I think it's a good fight for both.

andrade is a undefeated 154 champ i dont think he will get any credit beating a 147 fighter is unable to win a fight in his own weight class

You're probably right, I guess I'm thinking of this from Berto's side. If he was to get this fight and win he would be right back in the mix with all the big names. And have a belt

I would say it benefits him alot more but being thrown into the 154 mix could be dangerous for berto his best chances would be to cut down to 140

If someone favors Berto over Andrade maybe they are thinking of Giovanni Andrade, because that'd be pretty ******. These wars have ruined Berto and he wasn't elite to begin with.

What would a win over Berto prove? When's the last time that dude won a fight? I'm sure it would be entertaining.

only way he'll get into the big time is by usurping the best at 154in lara, who i think has an outside shot at a canelo late this year MAYBE. I fully expect camp canelo to go after cotto if he beats martinez, or if he doesn't lose to badly to martinez.
