Geale wants Golovkinin April, HBO a little hesitant

Didn't geale just get beat by barker? I get where ure going with this. But I see that fight ending up the same way the macklin fight did. If no peter quillin, Murray,or Sergio Martinez at 160 give me somebody with some firepower like Kirkland.

For the time being Geale is because he's better for Golovkin's resume than Kirkland. He's won world titles and has experience in the upper echelon of the sport.
If you see that ending the same way Macklin did, wouldn't Kirkland's end the same as Ishida? He'll push forward and Golovkin will have free reign on his defenseless self.
Also I'm sure you're tired of people always saying Golovkin's fighting JMW's, how would Kirkland help the fact unless he first establishes himself as a MW?

What I'm hoping. Kirkland's all good in fun, but it's really a nothing fight. Even Tapia was landing some in their short fight.... wtf kind of damage would Golovkin do?

I'm all for the fight if Kirkland does something noteworthy at MW.
Like what I said earlier... if he fought and KO'd Stevens, he becomes slightly interesting.
If 50 was smart, he'd work on making Kirkland into something. Keep him active and know where he wants him. Keep him at 154 or build him up to MW and keep him there

Geale is more meaningful win for ggg because he is a legit mw coming off a championship run..

Kirkland is just a fun exciting fight but won't be as meaningful...

Makes me think they'll try and push Kirkland

yeah they obviously want the biggest name they can get geale makes sense to me though its probably the more meaningful win though kirkland would likely be more exciting while it lasted

Don't see Sturm happening and I don't see Murray happening unless he loses first.
