Pacquiao is a better fight than both Maidana and Khan. Roger Mayweather is an idiot if he thinks that Khan could do more number than Pacquiao. They will do anything to avoid him and protect Floyd's zero in the loss column. Khan has followers in the UK, but the American fans know that he has been looking horrible in the ring lately. Pacquiao has a worldwide following that is anxious to see this mega fight. Despite Manny's losses, he has the bigger following and is the most challenging fight for Floyd. Roger admitted Khan doesn't deserve the fight, yet they are still considering giving it to him. Pacquiao takes a controversial loss, loses to a quality opponent that he was beating before the knockout, and comes back with a win against Rios and he is less qualified than Khan in their eyes. Khan has also had back to back losses and was dropped by sub par opposition. Maidana won a big fight and has the belt, but he is too sloppy to fight Floyd and would lose easily.

I feel before Floyd retires he should fight at least two guys that are not considered big draws but can still fight. How much money do these guys want to take from the fans? Amen! These plodders are just getting ridiculous. Pairing up the top current technical boxer in the sport versus flat footed no footwork having opponents is just getting old. Same applies to Pacquaio..the guys with skills aren't the best draws but hey at least we know you aren't going to toy with them for 12 rounds and call it a fight.

IMO.... they should've rode with the hotter fighter. Maidana just won a belt, he beat Mayweather's little brother and casuals think that since he beat baby Mayweather, he might beat big bro.

Compared to a guy who fought last spring against Julio Diaz.... I would've went with Maidana.

Mayweather has time though compared to Pac to loligag with his opponent.

The promoters should be held accountable. As long as fans and people in general continue to make excuses for these decisions then everything stays the same.

Khan may be more of a challenge, but it definitely isn't bigger.

They could have billed a Mayweather - Maidana showdown as a "Revenge" match and built that up on Showtime for months before the fight.

Picture this as an opening bit... Mayweather and Broner at a diner, sitting across from each other and grinning as they both drink from the same strawberry milkshake, while "So Happy Together" plays in the background. Next show them shopping for Civil Union rings at a high-end boutique.

Then cut to scenes of Broner getting smashed by Maidana.

Show Floyd falling to the floor and screaming into his hands... then show him rise with rage in his eyes.

Put the Predator dreads back on Senior and cut to an interview with him saying "Look man... I do the boxing. And I train him to kick Maidana's ass, you see? I can... give him the plan... to beat the man... from Afghanistan!" [then you hear a producer say offscreen "Actually Mr. Mayweather, he's from Argentina].

Then have Roger say.... "Zibba dubba dubba beez dat way sometime... dibba dubba izza izza cool... cain't nevva whip Floyd.... inna inna feedo foodoo cain't woop Floy'd ass... cain't nevva whip Floyd's ass!!!"

Finish it all by having Maidana say in his BEST english... "Bring out the gimp!"

That would be so nice, like oscar did with forbes but I doubt it would ever happen in this case especially with the $200 odd millions that showtime paid him for those 6 fights.
