Could Mikey Garcia make 140lbs eventually? Maybe even 147?

Look at Danny. He's got the body type that can fill out, and even then, his max is probably 147.

I just couldn't picture a blown up Mikey Garcia doing anything to guys like Garcia, Matthysse, Thurman, Bradley, Pac, Ruslan, Rios. None of them.
Mikey Garcia already beat Danny Garcia in the amateurs, it's possible.

Yeah I saw that. Arum wants to make the fight 140 at the end of the year.

I can see him being at 140 in maybe 3-4 years, if his skill is true then I can see him fighting the right opponent at 147.

He's got a 3" reach advantage over Manny, who was a former flyweight.

In a Sechbach interview I saw of his where he said he finds boxing too easy, it sounded like he wasn't too keen on jumping up to 147. He was asked about 140-147 and he said "maybe" 140. It sounded like he didn't want anything to do with 147 and barely considered 140. I think that if he feels boxing is too easy, with his logic, he should move up to 147 where he'd get plenty of, let's just say non easy opponents.

I can see him maxing out at 140. At 147 he wouldn't be competitive

140 should be the max they take him to. His power and speed isn't good enough to carry him at the higher weights like Manny's was.
