Imagine Kovalev actually did do that and fought Oliver McCall, that's a real power test right there, if Kovalev could be the first to KO McCall, then that power is beyond scary...

Kovalev has that George Foreman effect.

      Kovalev.

Since he killed Simakov, Kovalev seems he wants to get out of the ring as soon as possible... He detects his opponents weaknesses in one or two rounds and then quickly dispatches him. (Kovalev never "carries" his opponent -- I think he's afraid not to inflict irreversible damages again... Just a guess...)

I think he's still got that 'killer instinct' (no inappropriate pun intended) and he may do someone some damage again...hopefully not though, but he's still not particularly 'sensitive' in the ring...

I thought Kovalev said GGG was more powerful than him?

Havn't seen that but you know these kinds of things....same as the Klitschko brothers speaking of each other as being the much stronger and better brother, in the end it's up to the fans to really know the truth, or have a majority opinion, especially when the fighters can't be matched up in the ring for one reason or another.

Fighters can't even retain their senses past the 3rd round against Kovalev. He definitely appears to hit harder.

                    Kovalev.
He really does. Same mindset, too. If he fights and obliterates Stevenson like he is everyone else, we should go ahead and crown him the light heavyweight version of Big George.

Like you said, I believe Golovkin dishes out the more painful and lasting damage. Kovalev knocks you down/out with a neutralizing type of power.

If I had to pick one to be hit by......... I'd pick neither!
Haha, good choice there...you know, it's so enticing but I think i'll pass too!

Really, I think they should do the 'Oliver McCall test', he seemed to enjoy getting hit - whoever makes him cry the most is the harder puncher
