The April 22 IBF title fight between Chris Byrd and Wladimir Klitschko is being billed as "All or Nothing!" and will take place at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany (about 60 miles south of Frankfurt). "It is a magnificent feeling to finally be able to box again for the world championship," said Klitschko. "Chris Byrd is a southpaw and an extremely uncomfortable opponent to box. I beat him on points five years ago, but the Byrd of today is certainly stronger and much more experienced. His victories over top people like Evander Holyfield, Jameel McCline and David Tua speak for itself. I'm especially happy that this fight will take place in Germany. With the support of my fans behind me, I want to become world champion again." Klitschko and Byrd will be in New York City for a press conference tomorrow.
Looks like Wlad isnt taking Byrd lightly, thats a good thing....
