Pacquiao primed to win fighter of the year according to analyst

HBO and ESPN are corporate partners so this kind of analysis isn't surprising.
But how can Brian predict this when he doesn't know who Manny is fighting this year nor does he know who anyone else is fighting? Another espn personality can pick ward and use Kovalev, GGG and Stevenson possible fights as his reasoning.
As for now Campbell's opinion isn't valid.Comment

Yeah I understand, the I'm more intrigued to think who you guys have for an early pick for fighter of the year. I know we don't really known who is fighting who but still...HBO and ESPN are corporate partners so this kind of analysis isn't surprising.

I thought this was going to say he was winning FOTY for 2013.
If Pacquiao dismantles Bradley and Provodnikov, assuming those are his two fights this year, he'll be in contention, but that conversation is WAY premature.Comment

I don't have a pick. I never have a pick this early. I'm not even thinking about figher of the year until November anyway.
FOTY can not be made into an elimination contest like they do with the Heisman.
What kind of real boxing media analyst does **** like this?Comment
