Haye has zero respect for the sport, this is known.

However, the trainer doth protest too much. There was only ever one way this fight would end - Tyson spread eagled on the canvass.

Haye gives anyone in the current top ten a decent fight, providing he turns up.

    Tyson does not.

So why did he agree to fight fury in Feb then book himself in for surgery afterwards?
Why not come clean about the shoulder, get it fixed, then fight Fury later in the year when it was fully healed?
The only explanation which makes sense is that, as Peter Fury had been saying all along,
Haye didn't want the fight and was just jerking them around. He stated in an interview just days after the second contract was signed that Haye would find some reason to pull out again and that's exactly what happened.
If this was true why would he need to cut himself like ******s claim he did to get out of the fight? He could have just used the shoulder from the start. To claim Haye never wanted to fight Fury and is scared is the most ****** thing I've heard.

Fury is garbage, he knows it himself too. Fighters keep accepting his call outs but he never gets in the ring with them, the exception being Haye because the pay day would set him up for life.

        How about this Peter?

Haye really was injured. There's a bigger chance of that being true than him ducking Tyson Fury

I think maybe Haye was using the Fury fight to get a Vitali fight, £5m + £15m but probably got word Vitali was "retiring" and felt the Fury risk wasn't worth it.

Annoying thing is people will still line up to watch Haye when he returns. I don't think he deserves it.

I don't think Haye would make anywhere near £15 against Vitali.

DAVID HAYE TALKS SHOULDER INJURY, BEING ADVISED TO RETIRE, TYSON FURY & FROCH v GROVES. INTERVIEW BY KUGAN CASSIUS

He says that when he allegedly had his last sparring where he cut his eye, he all ready knew that his arm was messed up.

I personally think the cut was fake anyway(speculation). to me there are two options:
1= he was shook(Haye was not in his prime, the sparrings with the heavyweights he had proved he wasnt top/competitive etc.)

2= He was really injured and the shoulder injury is real and with the injury of the shoulder he just couldnt compete and needed surgery.

You saw the cut how can it be fake? Why would he cut his own face when he could just use the shoulder injury to get out of it the first time?

My reply is: the cut was being done to get out of the fight. I dont doubt that. He allready says in the interview that by the time he allegedly got cut he basically all ready knew his shoulder was f'ed. common how much more do you wanna hear? By the time he came out with the fake cut he allready knew his body wasnt up for the task he says. and coincidently at that time he received a cut yeah right.

A few days before that he talks all that smack that the fight would last 2-3 rounds max. because he is super Akuma or something. after the cut he still fools the people with talking big and claiming it would be an easy fight but the only thing different would be the date 8 February.

As Bayloric says he is a salesman and people like to be fooled!!!

one last thing he did a fool camp with all those HW's and still afterwards talking BS that the match would last 3 rounds max. why if only a few days later when he didnt have to do all those fierce sparrings sessions with the Wilders and such. did he come to the conclusion that his body was injured? At the least he is not straight forward and honest, talking 3 rounds while knowing his body is f'ed. making people loose unnessecay money. He is a proven liar and fairytale dude IMO. a con...

To give you a direct answer, the only way to get out of a fight/ contract is basically by injury.
