Freedom of speech protects you from legal prosecution, it isn't a license to say any ****** thing you want and be free from backlash. All the people who are angry are exercising their freedom of speech as well.

sometimes people are just too dumb to understand. There's been plenty of studies done by researchers that show people who are hateful bigots when it comes to race and sexual orientation are of very low intelligence.
