There is, because the belief he's expressing led to horrific abuse of *******uals in the past, and still does today in many places. He's stating outright that an entire sub-section of the population is in some way innately 'wrong', and need to be fixed, apparently because it says so in the bible. There is a law that protects gay people in the UK, however Evander was careful with his words he chose and didnt throw jibes or slurs or attack anyone in a aggressive or violent way.

How can he be a bible thumper if he doesn't follow all the bible's messages and beliefs? He can pick and choose what he believes and hide behind the bible when it's convenient?
