Comments Thread For: Team Provodnikov: If Pacquiao Tabs Bradley, No Problem

No decision has been made as to who Manny Pacquiao will face on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The two frontrunners are WBO junior welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov or WBO welterweight king Timothy Bradley.

According to Provodnikov's manager, they have no problem at all if Pacquiao selects a rematch with Bradley. Provodnikov's preferred fight is a showdown with Mexican star Juan Manuel Marquez. But, Marquez is pushing for a rematch with Bradley.

JMM wants a shot at winning a 147 pound world championship. Provo does nothing for him at this point.

We'll See How Bad Marquez Wants A Title At 147, Once Pacquiao Beats Bradley

You'll then see Marquez officially retire. He knows he fluked in the last Pacquiao fight. He can't duplicate that again. He was out of gas after 5 rounds and trained his azz off and juiced up. He wants to redeem a loss against Bradley because he knows he can't get hurt. It's not about the title. No way will he fight Pacquiao for a title at 147! Lol!

Ruslan holds a wbo strap at 140, it would give JMM that coveted title in another division that he wanted.

Stop it! The fight is not happening. You guys should focus on Rios Instead. There's a zero % chance of JMM agreeing

Pac fans make me want to hate on Manny, when he's such a great warrior! Didn't Marquez knock Manny down twice? Twice does not equal a fluke, it's called timing. Manny SUED Floyd for accusing him of juicing. Is it right for Pac fans to accuse Marquez of juicing without evidence? Just for the record:

              Pacquiao vs. Marquez 2 (Mar. 15, 2008)

              Pacquiao's total punches landed/thrown: 157/619 for 25 percent.
              Marquez's total punches landed/thrown: 172/511 for 34 percent.
              Pacquiao's total jabs landed/thrown: 43/314.
              Marquez's total jabs landed/thrown: 42/201.
              Pacquiao's total power punches landed/thrown: 114/305.
              Marquez's total power punches landed/thrown: 130/310.

              I'm just sayin'!

                Marquez will retire

If Pacquiao chooses Bradley, Marquez will retire instead of facing Provodnikov.
Marquez is known for choosing easy fights in between big fights, maybe he should give Likar Ramos or Serchenko a rematch.

Marquez was elevated from interim to full champion at 140 lbs so hes chasing a title in 5th weight class at 147 (morales 4) cuz he thinks he'll stand vs his compatriots and little does he realize that Pacquiao win is all he needed compared to barrera and morales.

and unfortunately he isnt on best of terms with Jose Sulaiman as far as i know to get a paper title.
