I'm going to break it down for you bro.

Boxing is VH1 Reality Dating Shows. Boxing is For the Love of Ray J, For the Love of New York, Real Chance of Love. Or a show like The Bachelorette.

Floyd Mayweather is The Bachelorette. Or really, Canelo, Pacquiao and most of these guys apply as well. He has a long list of hopeful bachelors lined up looking to be the one to get picked. Floyd reviews his potential suitors and looks for the following qualities:

How he looks (this affects marketability)
        His back story
        How popular he is
        His personality
How he can connect with the fans
And, yes, his ring accomplishments, but that's probably secondary

Qualities like that. What will happen is that Lara, Khan, Maidana, Pacquiao, Bradley, Molina, Angulo, Cotto and others will be lined up. And Floyd will call Erislandy to the front and say "Landy, you are a great fighter, but I have to send you home. You just lack several qualities that I'm looking for. Turn in your house keys."

That's the sport of boxing for you.

The Showtime contract is a huge retirement cash out. Lara is a hard sell at this time.

Except I have not seen one person say this, making you pathetic. It's insane how people can't differentiate from explaining why so-and-so fight doesn't happen to not wanting it.

tons of british casuals. monetarily, it's a much better option for showtime, and they know this.

they don't sell ppv for $70 the way we do over here, but they sell it for 15 pounds, which is around $25.

khan will also do much better in selling the fight to an american audience. he's decent looking, and speaks english.

Didn't Lara himself tweet he wasn't ready or deserving late last year? FFS.

Is there any reason this fight is not happening?
Why a`rent you calling for PAcquiao to fight Andrade since Pacquiao fought at jnr middleweight before?

I remember Lara saying he would beat Floyd. And to be honest I think at 154 he does beat Floyd.
