Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Very Focused To Keep His Life on Track

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has admitted that he still has a 'full-on raging' addiction to drugs like *******, cannabis and alcohol, adding that only his conscience about his family keeps him from losing control.

Regarded as being among the best heavyweight boxers in history, Tyson, who served three years in prison between 1992 and 1995 for ****, was as well known for his fierce style inside the ring as for his questionable behaviour on the outside, and he retired from the sport in 2005.

Mike's been through hell and back. To see where and who he is today is pretty amazing.

    Keep it up, Iron Mike.

His book is amazing. I think he's a good person with a terrible addiction problem and it's amazing he's still alive. I hope he can stay sober.

I just finished his book last night and I got to say I really enjoyed it and recommend to anybody who can relate to boxing ,addiction , or anybody wanting to hear some wild stories that will have you laughing to yourself . I though I heard it all about Mike but this book goes into great detail . MIKE SHould just leave the alcohol and ******* alone and just smoke weed here and there when he starts bouncing off the wall. I'm sure it calms him down .reefer never hurt no one

Yeah, if he is going to be addicted he should stick with marijuana as that is the more harmless vice. He should use it as a crutch to keep away from the real bad stuff like *******.

He lost it because he never cared for money and gave it away . he was surounded by greedy people whos only objective was to take it from him ( robin , king ,desiree washington ) money never made him happy so he didnt care when he was giving it away !he want the glory and his name to reign eternally like Achilles . Imagine boxing if everyone in the sport had the on their mind first and not a payday!

I am confused. One day he is clean and the next he is doing an interview that he is getting high and drunk. I hope he can stay clean for his kids so they have a real father in their life and he can break the cycle.
