I think the marez vs gonsalez card was not generating enough ticket sells, that is why it got cancel. ( they need to return my money the tickets I bought)

That's not what Schaefer was saying, but I hope it does end up on the Canelo undercard. I'll be at the Canelo fight on March 8th whether Mares is on there or not, but it'd be nice to see my two favorite fighters on the same card and kill two birds with one stone.

This would be a great card:

Canelo vs. Angulo
Mares vs. Gonzalez II
Santa Cruz vs. Mijares
Figueroa vs. Alvarez

I'd say Erislandy Lara, but I doubt GBP puts him on the same card as Canelo.

I doubt Broner would would fight on Canelo's undercard, and March 8th is probably too soon for his return anyways.

Gary Russell Jr. vs. T.B.A. is not PPV worthy.

I'd say Shawn Porter vs. Kell Brook or Pablo Cesar Cano are the only realistic possibilities. I'd like to see Shawn Porter vs. Robert Guerrero, but Guerrero has been a "Ghost", haha.

Man I can't wait for this fight. I'm nervous for Mares. It's not like I'm a huge fan of his or anything but if he gets KTFO again...his career will be f**ked.

how will his career be ****ed? Barrera lost twice to Jr Jones and went on to great achievements. Pacquiao was kod 2 xs and went on to have a legendary career. How will Mares be screwed?
