Because styles make fights. Maidana's style went well with Broner's. Broner is faster, accurate and has better counter-punching and defense than Maidana. Maidana only had a puncher's chance and no one anticipated his awkwardness coming back and making a big difference.

If anyone was going to expose Broner, I thought it was going to be Paulie. He had the work rate, footwork, defense and speed going into that fight.

I never considered it an upset because I picked Maidana to beat Broner and drop him him in the fight. I was right in all counts.

I had the fight a draw 114-114. I was expecting a MAJOR exposure. I thought the only thing that made the fight so close was Broner's inactivity because when he threw, he landed.

The outcome is a good one for Mayweather. Little may gets his ass beat. Floyd comes in and massacres Maidana, cuz come on. Style wise it should be as easy as it gets for Floyd.

Remember Floyd - Jmm? Well Floyd - Maidana would be even more one sided if that is possible.

Thurman would be ideal, but Khan'll do. At least, he'll put up a better fight against May than Chino would. I'm sorry but Chino would just plod after May while floyd just dances around the ring with lead hooks, counters, and pot shots, it wouldn't be very entertaining.

At least with Khan, he'd be forced to engage.
marquez doesnt exactly excel at pushing forward whereas thats maidana's bread and butter.

You seriously had it a draw? If Roger Mayweather was here he would slap you twice with baby powder. If boxing was a person, they would disown you. If you were a limb on a person who embodied boxing, they would chop you off.

As to the question, there were a boatload of people that thought Broner would grow some movement or eat up Maidana on the inside. Or stop him by body shot to the more ig'nant ones. It was an upset because he was an underdog in all meanings of the word. I mean, my on demand all access says rising star broner is preparing for CARLOS Maidana. There are people that know Maidana was looking better and betterband broner the same, plateaued if u will, for a long time. I think this loss will wake broner up. He's decent he was just beat by a special guy who he, and a majority of the boxing world, underestimated greatly.

I had maidana clear... except for some middle rounds where broner seemed to gather his wits a bit, chino dictated the fight and had that kd to help him. Should be 2 kds but that bs penalty canceled out his 2nd.

Because after seeing hi, churn out inconsistent performances against Alexander and morales its hard to just look at it and assume he'd come out like that. It was a huge upset. Gonzalez mares was shocking but it wasn't on this type of scale or stage.
