The only thing I'll say regarding Maidana not deserving Floydie is to the detractors... if you are so behind the times to think Maidana is still that guy who lost to Alexander... you really have no biz commenting about it. And BTW, someone this far into their career, making as much progress as he has in his past 4 fights, should definitely be commended.

As for Floydie, he would pick Khan MAINLY because it's less risk/higher reward. Khan can pop, but not like Maidana. And the Khan fight puts more moolah into Floydie's already stuffed pockets. So as a biz decision, I wouldn't blame Floydie if he chose Khan. As a boxing fan though, I think Floydie needs to grow a set for once and fight Maidana. And no, I doubt Marcos beats him, but he would beat him up worse than even Cotto did.

If Maidana were to fight Alexander again you would see the extent of Maidana improvements. Too many people fall into the trap of thinking a fighter has greatly improved, when in actuality they have simply been put in the ring with opponents who don't neutralise what they have to offer.

Floyd has been in the ring with better fighters than Maidana and fighters who have looked far more fearsome, so I don't really know where you get off saying he ''needs to grow a set for once and fight Maidana''.

I don't have a problem with Maidana, he is a tough little fighter, but he is leagues below Mayweather. All these threads show is that there will always be someone Mayweather is ducking. People don't give a shit about the quality of the fighter and throw their common sense to the side.

I hope they make the Maidana fight so people can really witness the difference in skill level between Broner and FMJ.

That would probably be about the best thing about the fight, and I'm no FMJ fan.

Only thing Mayweather needs to worry about is Maidana headbutting him.

Frankly I think Floyd is way too much for Chino, but it would be a better fight than Khan. Though, I do think things could get interesting late when Floyd slows down a bit and begins to approximate Broner just a little more. Or if Chino manages to walk out and just punch him in the face. LOL.

If Floyd is keeping the Floyd lottery away from TR, Chino deserves it as much as anybody. Who knows, he might get lucky and get humanitarian of the year two years in a row.

I would certainly prefer Maidana over "tomato Khan" as next opponent for Floyd. After Pacman, he's probably the best guy he can get.

Please take this fight Floyd! I know Khan is the cash cow, but Maidana or Garcia deserve this fight. Maidana, Garcia, Lara, Porter and Thurman all deserve this fight more than Khan!

Khan didn't beat Maidana at 147. Porter beat Alexander at 147, Khan should've beat Devon for some respect. Thurman is a beast at 147. Lara beat Trout and Angulo. And we all know what Garcia did to Khan. Floyd should fight Maidana and Khan should fight Garcia at 147 on the undercard. I think Khan should beat someone with a title at 147 before he gets a shot at the P4P king of boxing.
