It's not just the words, but the cultural appropriateness of the slur. Like I said earlier, in Quebec French the f-bomb is no biggie but if you tart talking about chalices in tabernacles at the dinner table you may get thrown out of a house. This stuff really is different, with different levels of tolerance, in different places. If he actually hates black people, that's bad. If it's just gross cultural insensitivity, then it's something he should still probably work on.

Yeah I agree I kind of touched on that in the rest of my post saying that considering he is trying to build a name in a different culture from his own (USA/the West) then maybe he should consider not using terms that may be deemed negative over there...
But yeah if he is racist then he is clearly a ****-head, but if its a culture difference in context or use, then he needs to try and avoid it in my opinion, I hate racism even if it's implied.
