This is inexcusable given the Twitter photo that was just posted in this thread. Kovalev should pay for it exactly the same way Devon Alexander did for his comments towards the Chinese.

If that pic is legit, not only does it confirm that he's a racist but also a ***ing spastic. Why would you post that on Twatter? What a complete ****.

I'm so sick of this bull****, and the double standard. Black and hispanic fighters say much more controversial racist **** on the norm. Remember when Hopkins said all that **** about calzaghe? Could you imagine if a white fighter said those things? Stop attacking Sergei because he' walking through a ton of african American fighters. This is a joke

How can anyone say that's not racist?
That's as racist as it gets.

Does Kovalev have to toss a banana before he becomes a racist? I just want to know where the line is for some people.

so whats so racist about what kovalev said or did?
Ask these posters. Maybe they can shed light as to why.
SO, is yellow chump or cook him like sushi racist?
OK yellow chump and cook him like sushi, which isn't associated with Filipinos ? I ask again, is it racist or not?
It's the intent. He was trying to denigrate pac for his appearance and stereotypes based on his nationality (filipino) and race (asian). Floyd is just too ignorant to know an actual Filipino dish, so he just grouped pacquaio with another group of asians (Japanese), which makes it worse imo.
That's like pac calling floyd a "black loser," and he will "cook him like fried chicken."

you sure that was his intent? If you are wrong about intent?
in your example-fried chicken is actually a stereotypical food for black people so there is somewhat of a difference. you also have to cook fried chicken, you do not cook sushi last I checked.
There is a reason evol will not give a yes or no answer-because he knows it isn't racist.

Yes, I'm pretty sure his intent was to insult pacquiao. It is evidenced by his use of the word "chump" and referring to his skin as "yellow." Moreover, if taken in context with the rest of that ustream video; it is quite obvious and difficult to argue otherwise. Didn't he also say he would cook him with cats and dogs? For your information that is another stereotype that asians cook and consume cats and dogs.
Sushi is a stereotypical food for asian people, hence why I used it as an example. It is analogous to the stereotype of black people and fried chicken.
The preparation of the food is irrelevant.
I think it is definitely racist. Defending it is the same as those defending kovalev. Practice what you preach.
