I am stunned... I really thought Mendez was going to smoke him. But I am pleasantly surprised at the result. Ever since that Usmane fight, Rances has gotten better. Even though it was controversial, Mendez was badly hurt and I seriously doubt he wins a rematch.

Yan may not have made it as a pro, but he's still an Olympic gold medalist. Those guys don't grow on trees. lol One of my coaches was a golden gloves champ. He looked like Muhammad Ali in our gym. lmao It makes you realize the level of difference between world-class professional fighters and everyone else. It's crazy.

Rances is a better boxer and Mendez very well used his size advantage to beat his former rivals. But Rances is taller and stronger. It is not magic or unexpected. At 140 would be worse for Mendez vs Rances

lmao You must be pretty good, bro. Hahahahaha!

Any fighter, serious amateur or pro, is no joke. We watch these dudes all the time on TV and they make it look easy. This guy's a "bum," that guy's a "tomato can," but they'd all kick our asses. lol

Since there is no doubt that Barthelemy hit twice after the bell, the result is going to be under review and there is a great possibility that this fight would be declared a no contest. However, I do believe that Mendez was in route of losing based on what it was seen in those two rounds. If there is a rematch, does Mendez have any chance to defeat the Cuban born fighter? my initial thinking is that the history very likely could repeat in a second fight and Rances should be favorite in case a rematch occurs.
