at least wlad is getting rid of a fighter that needs to go, now we just need someone to get rid of valuev and we can focus on, toney/rahman winner, wlad, brewster, calvin brock, sam peter and sort the **** out

i think the general consensus is that wlad needs to beat byrd AND another champ to be called the hottest heavyweight. (unless youre bozo, in which case all he needs to do is wear shorter shorts i kid, i kid). i personally think he'll walk through byrd, pace himself and defeat brewster, and toney? i dunno. thats up in the air for me.

this will be a easy fight fore wlad, but it will do 2 great things, 1 wlad will get a belt and get closer to a unification fight with brester and/ore winner of toney/rahman.

2 we will get rid off the inactive boring byrd

Wlad would "the hottest fighter" only if he beat Brewster then Toney/Rahman. But some people actually think that beating Byrd would do this? Just imagine if he loses to Byrd.

Maybe in the eyes of Cheerleaders like the Cooler here, but they've always thought he was the hottest to begin with. :gay:

It's fine that he's taking this title shot, but as mentioned Toney and Rahman are fighting for the WBC title, and Lamon Brewster still holds a strap, and he's stopped Wlad.

Figthing a light hitting fighter who poses little to no threat to his Strawberry Sunday chin does nothing to dispell all the weaknesses he suffers from.

Although it's a good fight for him because it's for a title, he still has Brewster in the picture, and the fact he's never rematched a fighter that's knocked him out. Yet here he is rematching someone he already beat.

With Vitali no longer around to fight the guys he lost to for him, the only thing that gets Wlad anywehere near back to being the hottest thing in the Heavyweight division is fighting Lamon Brewster.

Time will tell if that's the route he's truely interested in.

Come on, Bozo, you can not deny that Wlad will be the hottest.
