Arreola's nose is his weakness.

He was fighting fine until Stiverne smashed his fat nose, then blood was pouring out and he couldn't breathe for the remaining 9 rounds of the fight. He also said in an interview that it was extremely painful getting hit in the face after that, so he wasn't fighting at his best.

We could see a completely different Arreola this time.

That just means he was hit hard. Getting your nose broken in a boxing match is not an excuse for losing. It's the same rationalization I see for Matthysse and his broken orbital bone.

I agree with joseph5620. That would be like someone saying "Broner would have won if he didn't get caught cold with his hands down in the second round and that he was buzzed from that knockdown the rest of the fight so he couldn't perform well. Wasn't an accidental but that broke his nose, it was a fair punch. A knockdown from a punch is fair damage; just like a broken nose from a clean punch is fair damage; just like a clean body shot that takes your breath away is fair damage; just like a hook that breaks your orbital bone is fair damage.

Arreola didn't fall because his nose broke, he fell because he got punched in his face and was hurt. Broken nose or not he would have fought buzzed and punches would have stung him more because he would have been buzzed. Happens a lot in boxing. I think it's called "being buzzed".

I see no way how Arreola could beat Stiverne. Stiverne has Arreola number and its just a bad style match-up for Arreola. I say Stiverne by KO.

Sitverne-Arreola is a rare rewatchable HW fight
don't see the outcome changing, but liking the rematch
don't dislike Arreola, but hoping/expecting Stiverne beats him again
he just seems like the guy who wants it more and will work harder

This is a good fight. Hope Arreola does better this time around. Whoever wins isn't holding the belt long though. Perez, Wilder, and Fury would eat Stiverne or Arreola for breakfast.

IMO Arreola knocks Wilder and Fury out,Perez is a fine boxer even better than Stiverne,but I fancy Arreola to win,I think it isn't all that far fetched he could win on points,but his activity and fitness I don't see how he could keep a tempo to out point Stiverne.i think he will be looking for the KO from the outset,I wouldn't put money on it,but sure I'll put epoints on it.

Fair play.I think we wil see a super motivated Arreola.we ain't gonna see a better Stiverne IMO,the only way he exceeds his last performance is stopping Arroela,and in fairness Vitali Klitschko himself couldn't manage that,the towel came in from team Arreola.however you look at it,Arreola is one tough hombre,is Stiverne tougher ? I don't believe so,Chris gave him fits early on with his come forward style and he was hurting him.

It is a bad style match up for Chris as is any fight vs a boxer.Chris can hurt him though and may go in with the mentality he needs to stop him to win.
