I'd like to think we'll see the pre-Froch Bute, but I have my doubts. Not that it was all roses back then, but he did have a good streak going... albeit against mainly average fighters. If he lets himself get caught on the ropes though, it's pretty much Pascal's fight. Starting to lean toward Pascal, if he can keep his stamina up.

Fight would have been a close fight Pre Froch, but Pascal has power and Bute sans punch resistance so Jean has the edge. They can both box well enough to find the other, both have good power, but one can't take a shot well. Seems like the logical pick is Pascal. But this is boxing where the only sure bet is Mayweather wins, and Bute has a monster of an uppercut bahaha! So who know's *shrug*. If i have to pick, Pascal by stoppage but i don't have to pick so im'a watch the fight and hope for an early fight of the year candidate.

Bute is a confidence fighter. If he can hurt Pascal early, or take the centre of the ring, he'll win.

Is not that. Bute wasn't taught any defence, clinching and inside boxing by "great" Larouche... Bute is boxing the same way he used to at the amateurs, more than 10 years ago... And in order to illustrate more accurately Larouche's "capabilities", I just learned that, in the past months, Bute took judo and wrestling lessons (in Spain)!?!

If Pascal fights smart, uses feints, keeps Bute guessing so he can't set up his left hand counters, he should win handily.

after that and the layoff, Bute is definitely vulnerable
but when has Pascal KO'd a fighter that mattered?
he's got sloppy offense and shit stamina himself
wouldn't be surprised if either guy got stopped here

Are you serious? I mean i wouldnt be surprised its Larouche afterall and Bute is a joke and manufactured hype job.

Pascal has never been stopped. Bute has been KO'd twice (once officially).

Pascal has been more active, I like him to win via UD.
