Uurgh there is the pity, I'd actually much rather see Haye become a world champion than Wladimir do the routine win lol.Comment

Should be an easy night for Chisora, the Ukranian is only ko'd cabrivers and went the distance with a guy with a 6-5-1 record
What an unimportant fight in the midst of the new wave of heavyweights,
nobody from the top 15 wants to fight eachother it seems :sComment

Good question.
First it was Malik Scott, who was counted out by the shady referee even though he beat the count and wasn't seriously hurt. On my card, Malik was ahead in the fight.
Edmund Gerber hurt Chisora with a good shot, Dereck was on the backfoot for the rest of the round to survive. Then, in the next round, Chisora threw a flurry of punches at Gerber. The home ref waved it off and Chisora had another TKO!
Ondrej Pala was doing well in his fight against Chisora. Then, Chisora turned Pala around, and then hit him hard with an illegal rabbit punch to the bottom of the back of his head. The shady ref waved it off - yet another TKO for Chisora!
Will the durable and tough (but somewhat limited) Andriy Rudenko be yet another victim of a shady early stoppage on Feb 15?Comment

There is a long list of fighters that the Klits fought who could not fight well anymore. Calvin Brock arreola etc. They destroyed generations of fighters in their prime who were never the same after the beatings they gotComment

Chisora didn't get a lucky break, he had hurt his opponent in all three instances and was denied a chance to finish (which would've avoided these convos).
It was 27 punches consecutive punches, Gerber had no complaints. Of the three, imo that stoppage was legit.Originally posted by Freedom2013Edmund Gerber hurt Chisora with a good shot, Dereck was on the backfoot for the rest of the round to survive. That didn't happen. Pala's actually didn't turn around, that was his problem, he walked straight into the turnbuckle and stayed there. Ref shouldn't have stopped it though, there was something left in that bout.Ondrej Pala was doing well in his fight against Chisora. This is true, although Arreola looks like he'll stage a comeback.
Chisora's durability is beginning to wane. I suspect it is from the beatings taken against Vitali and Haye, but it may also be down to the fact that he's cut weight.
I wish Wladimir would fight Chisora. It would be a good KO for his record.Comment
