Porter is a solid fighter but beating Devon Alexander to me was more refreshing than it was impressive. I was happy because Alexander sucks and is boring and Porter finally did what Iv'e been begging for opponent after opponent of Alexanders to do; Punch him in the mouth. Just get in his face and beat him up. Alexander can "box" but he's not a fighter, not a scrapper, he does not seem like he likes to mix it up and get dirty like say a Timothy Bradley. So as happy as I am that Porter beat Alexander, it doesn't give him supreme upside just yet. I want to see him take down another valid name, but one that's solid, as Alexander was there to be beat IMO.

How you tell a newbie to boxing is when they say a fighter has a zero chance and then the "Everybody has a plan" overused cliché sealed the deal. Welcome to Boxing, you will learn the hard way that no one has a zero chance and sure as hell not at the higher levels of boxing.

Porter vs dana is an ok fight i guess but honestly dana needs to fight thurman as of right now best style fight for him out there guys with speed who actually use it and box like floyd or a porter would is a easy ud againt danas style.
