How does Floyd's Contract with Showtime work?

FOR BOTH KEV AND RADIORAHEEM...Don't worry me boys, you certainly you don't "hang out" with me...if you did..I'd never be able to live it down. And as for the "******ed forum" you mention. I'm surprised that you can even recognise it as it actually is. I've been trying to uplift it's intelligence level for the past 5 years, but when guys like you come on, it weighs the "stoopid" level down too much.Boy oh BOY... are you STOOOPID. You've missed the whole point, even though I posted to you TWICE. If I were you i wouldn't show anything to your "professor"... the IRS employee. He might be tempted to actually look at your work and fail you miserably for lack of comprehension....IN SPADES.....
You don't seem to understand ANYTHING....
In truth, I would have quit this den of feeble-minded persons (which you so excellently personify) but that I was urged by those to whom I'd presented all my "points" not to.
But...reading nonsense like yours is hard on my tolerance level......Last edited by edgarg; 12-31-2013, 09:10 PM.Comment

Gee Whizz..another DUMBO. They're all piling of of the wormholes. That was a direct QUOTE from a THOMAS HAUSER (you've maybe heard of him) article. I didn't make it up. I'm not a half-witted BoxingScene poster,....at least not yet, although dealing with cretins who constantly display no comprehension, could drive even a saint crazy.
Do you even hear yourself? How could Golden Boy use that as a negotiating tactic or leverage to make Floyd Mayweather their slave? Floyd Mayweather was already a proven PPV fighter by that time and had been on HBO many times! You cannot be serious! I read everything, and said none of it backs up your allegation that he's a slave to Golden Boy.
And...... where did I "allege" that anyone was a slave of Golden Boy...?
Your remarks of my "allege", implies that I made it up.... If you could understand my posts of "excerpts of an article by THOMAS HAUSER" then you would (at least you "SHOULD") not be accusing me of loose-minded alleging. I in fact did not so "allege". I'm not sure if it was a quote from one of his books or a quote form one of his well researched articles, but it did not come from my mind. Your comment, on the other hand, DID come from your "alleged" mind.........Last edited by edgarg; 12-31-2013, 09:07 PM.Comment

Bunch of hot air, hasn't even attempted to make his own break down of how the PPV money is distributedDon't worry me boy,, you certainly you don't "hang out" with me...if you did..I'd never be able to live it down. BOY are you STOOOOOPID...... I've explained the whole point of my original response to your...well, I'd be very complimentary by calling it "simplistic" caveman arithmetic... 3-4 times already and you still don't get it..... I was enjoying it at first...you know, the way you can enjoy a vaguely witty comment, but this is getting past a joke. I'm not going to respond further. I suggest that you read over VERY CAREFULLY, my very first response to your nonsensical breakdown of Alvarez-Mayweather, and don't progress to the next word until you are SURE you understand the text, and the obvious meaning of it..... Goodbye, it's been ........ well, not exactly nice...... but tiresomely humourous..You added a bunch of BS to my original post, taking it and deducting crap that doesn't even get deducted off the revenue. Like the 39% tax. And a bunch of crap you don't even know gets deducted.
Out of the $150million PPV revenue, $75mill goes for Mayweather/Canelo and the rest of the fighters and promoter to break up. It's not that complicated, you are making the math harder to understand than it really is.Comment

LOL, wtf is your argument exactly? I mean I see you typing these novels and mentioning Thomas Hauser and saying my post is wrong, but you're not saying much else after that. You sound like your usual butthurt self in any Floyd related thread.Comment

Floyd Deal is No Different than Seattle giving Cano 240 million
Yankees giving A-rod 300 million!!!
The Money isn't Showtime Money!!! Its CBS money!!!
CBS is worth 100's of Billions of Dollars!!!
They gave Floyd that money to become the Face of PPV Boxing.....
They Took the Biggest name in the sport from the #1 company HBO for 20 plus years!!!
Just by Associating with Floyd is a Win for them and Bigger than the 200 million Contract!!
(its like Gatorade giving Jordan 100 million might seem like a bad deal but 25 years later how much millions did that deal made them plus they are a household name)
For you 3rd world Fan-Boys that don't know **** about how sports Contract work in America look it up!!!
If Seattle gave Cano 240 million a season thats around 25 Mil per and their attendance sucks..can they void the contract?? NO as long as Cano is playing he will get his money!!!
Floyd deal is No different than any other North American Sports Deal its 30 million no matter who he fights!! but CBS/Show time incentive for him to fight against Great fighters!! is the PPV the more buys he gets the more money he can make!! 80-100 million against canelo...its on Floyd to Maximize that 30 million to 80-100 million
Lebron winning MVP,all NBA first team and other Accolades are into his contract too as a Bonus thats how it works here!Comment
