Did I miss something about Pascal he kind of sort of fights the same way circle on the outside flash in for some combos then back to catching his breath , he's fun to watch but has flaws which is why this is a pretty intriguing fight.

His style is why I think Pascal will wreck Bute. Pascal's not Kovalev or anything but he can punch and the ambush style worked pretty well against Bute when Froch used it. Pascal's at least close to Froch, and he's faster.

Maybe Bute punches harder than I think and stops Pascal, but I'm not expecting it.

Makes sense to me. Pascal seems pretty sturdy and Bute doesn't. If they trade, seems like it would be to Pascal's advantage.

Bute is one-handed fighter his left but it's dangerous especially from short distances as long as Pascal doesn't linger his speed combos could be too much.

I couldn't agree more. Bute, while he bombed vs Froch, is still a good boxer with good movement, decent speed and power. Froch won by bull rushing him once he sensed that Bute would go on the defensive easily and be hurt. But if Pascal stays on the outside to box, Bute could tag him. Pascal has to press the action and make Bute uncomfortable the way Froch did. But not get reckless with no defense.

I agree here partly. Froch's victory just came down to strategy. Bum rush him with pressure early and get to that chin before he gets comfortable.....and it worked. It was actually a serious bit of genius by Froch. I seriously doubt anybody will stop Bute like that again, Froch included.

I do think Pascal has the skills and attributes to KO Bute so long as he pressures Bute intelligently.

This is really a tough fight to call. Both have been off forever. We don't really know how well Pascal will perform. And we don't know how well or poorly Bute will comeback from the biggest defeat of his career.

I'm leaning towards Pascal as he simply has the blood thirsty, warrior mindset, and the I don't give f!@k attitude. If he's smart he WILL try to replicate what Froch did. He probably will. I can't wait to see how Bute deals with it. Who knows he might just shock all of us with a flashy counter punch KO...
