I'm glad I went tonight. The first fights with the new pros, and the main event were what made it worthwhile. Watching Miura work was also good.

One of the most interesting things about this card was that, as it took place in a relatively small arena, it had almost a club fight feel, yet for world championship fights.

This was even more so because Kaneko and Uchiyama both had a large section of supporters in two different places in the arena, and they were constantly chanting over one another. As it were, Uchiyama is from Tokyo, and Kaneko is from neighboring Yokohama, so there was a cross-town rivalry aspect, as well. It really made things sort of interesting.

I was also about the only non-Japanese I saw in the entire event. It is difficult to navigate getting tickets or getting to events if you don't read Japanese, is my guess as to why (though it isn't actually that hard--you can buy tickets at convenience stores.)
**** Nodogoshi I didn't know you were at the fight skipped most this thread thanks for keeping us updated.Did you see a fighter by the name off Masao Nakamura on the undercard was a decent looking prospect but lost a few years ago

Nah, he was on the card in Osaka, not this card.
