  • Mayweather has to be the greatest cherrypicker ever 12 champions defeated in a row

Since Mayweather changed his nickname and persona around 06-07 he has become the anti-hero/ bad guy. Since he retired and came back he has fought and defeated 6 current or former world champions in a row.
He is labled a cherrypicker and there are more beloved fighters who havent beaten that many(6) in their entire career like Aaron Pryor. Beloved guys like ODLH, Julio Cesar Chavez, Whitaker, or Roy Jones never defeated 12 world champions in a row

I cant think of one fighter today or in the past who has done this.

In total he has 18, 19 if you include the WBO. Considering he has only 45 fights that shows he has consistently fought at a world class level since winning a title in his 18th pro fight.

Sorry guys I have to disagree. He fought a HOFer in his first title fight, defended it 8 times and won titles in 4 other weight classes.

It takes a great fighter, not a cherrypicker to accomplish this. In other words, if he was a CHERRYPICKER, coward, or scared, he wouldnt have accomplished what he has in his career and would have had a hiccup, when cherrypicks go wrong

Great champions like baldomir, ortiz, guerrero, old mosley after a two year layoff, 4 years too late cotto, midget hatton, lightweight marquez, can't-nelo...what you said sounds good on paper until you realize there's more to flaoids cherry picks

Its actually not that hard if all of those fights are in your hometown and is the only place in America that allows you to use Xylocaine and you fight under your own promotion and you can fail a ODST and they won't publish the results

yes he was able to cherry pick the weakest champions. congrats? notice how Floyd fans only use numbers to show off Floyd's greatness and never names? its because the names suck! who's gonna brag about beating Ortiz, baldomir, and old cotto/mosley/hoya? especially when he could have fought prime margarita, cotto, Williams, pac, Martinez, etc...also what are you considering a champion? marquez was champ at 135 not 147, hatton was champ at 140 not 147,guerrero was interim champ aka not a champ, Judah was coming off a loss and was still champ.
