Comments Thread For: Roach Has No Issue With Pacquiao-Provodnikov Fight

For the boxing purists or pure pugilists and aficionado - THIS IS THE FIGHT, a rock 'em, sock 'em type of a fight. But is there a value for both?
• There's more gain for Provo but nothing for Pacquiao. Pacquiao is in his decline and I don't think it is wise to make this fight. He should be going for the Bradley, Mayweather and...er, who else is left before he retires?
If we're going to stick with Provo and Pacquiao, then sure I would still watch it. It would be exciting for sure. Dangerous for both sides because there's potential for both ruining each other.
• Pacquiao potentially ruining Provo and his career, this is not good for Provo because he MAY be not ready just yet but his physical prowess are obviously top-notch.
• Provo can also potentially ruin Pacquiao physically and his career into an abrupt halt instead of a graceful denouement as a champ.
But just the technicality of it is salivating for the violent mind...hahahhaa. Every punch would have fireworks that would sure prompt another punch (combinations) and/or counters from the other. It would be that awesome, "Mexican-style" in Mano Y Mano fashion.
I don't like it in the light that both are good friends albeit the admission that both are willing to fight but gosh, I would like the Bradley-Pacquiao better.

of course Roach has no issue. He is loyal to one fighter and that's Pac. I'm sure Roach would not lose sleep over Prov gettin a trainer to replace him as long as he still has his pen pal
