This is a very good fight for pac, as we seen in his last few fights Provo doesnt have one shot KO power hes an accumulation puncher. Provo is a slightly upgraded version of Rios at this point. Slightly faster, no jab to bother pac with. Major difference is Provo jumps in when he punches. Look at the Bradley fight. Pitty Pat Bradley tore Provos face up, what do you think Pac is gonna do? Probably 3-5 good rounds after that Pac annihilates him. Provo only scores when a fighter stops in front of him, Pac doesnt stop moving. Plus Provo wont have Roach in his corner, Pac will. Any excitement over this fight is mis-placed. Easy fight for Pac, im about as excited for this fight as i was for the Rios fight. Excitement = 0000.00.

There's no reason why Ruslan and Pac should have to cross paths, how anyone could agree to pay for a fight between friend sparring partners with the same trainer is beyond me. They aren't even in the same weight division and there are so many other fights that can be made for both fighters which would make far more sense but this is all happening due to the greed and personal pride of the handlers behind the scenes.Comment

For all of the talk about how close of a relationship Roach and Pacquiao have you have to start to wonder just how close they really are. Having Pacquiaos best Interest In mind when you have a father/son relationship as these two claim to have, should be one of Roaches priority's. Roach should have an Issue with a Provodnikov fight as It does nothing to further Pacquiaos career. He has 3-4 fights left before his career Is finished and Provodnikov should not be one of those fights. You would also have to wonder If Roach has ever sat down with Pacquiao and advised him that whoever Is handling his taxes and finances Is doing a poor job. I understand that Pacquiao Is an adult and should be able to make his own decisions, but proper guidance from Roach who claims to be very close to Pacquiao would be the right thing to do right now, not giving his blessing for a meaningless fight.Comment

That weasel Arum don't give a S#+ about Manny. He wants Manny to fight Provo so Bradley has no choice but to rematch Marquez. That way, he can make tons of money. Manny should leave him and Konz for good. Filipino should not vote for Manny if he runs for presidency. He's a good guy but too dumb when it comes to financial management.Comment

The right fight is Juan vs Manny! Its a legit fight for legit money as long as Floyd doesn't want Manny!
Fighting lil Rock is a waste of time for Manny and he has NO time to waste! He had his warm up and so did Floyd. Juan got his big win then got greedy with Timmy! None of these older guys needs to mess with guys with a high volumn punch rate unless they walk into punches!!
Juan vs Manny then retire!!
Floyd keeps fighting inexperienced novices then retires!
Then boxing can get on with its new regime!! oh yeah take Wlad with you, please

Maybe I missed it, is the fight going to be at 140lbs or 147lbs? Hard to imagine Provo having to face Pac on his first attempt at 147lbs..........if it's at 140lbs then I look forward to an action packed bout!Comment

I like this match up it's something new it's not a recycled fight by TR. Provodnikov will have to get him self a new trainer. Gonzalez and Mares were friends and sparred with each other they both had the same trainer at one point. So why not Pac vs Provodnikov? I don't like watching the same movies over and over get the point now.Comment
