Sooner or later that rematch will happen, too much money involved for it not to happen.
Killing a guy doesn't really make it more dangerous. Many C level fighter have killed people in the ring before, it's a thing that we don't like seeing, but this happens in boxing from time to time.

I'm not calling Chavez a C level fighter, I think he's an A class fighter. But he was stopped by Mayweather & Morales.

I think Barrera is a better boxer then Morales & I don't see Barrera losing to Chavez. But I do see Barrera having problems with Pac style. This is the easier fight for Barrera.

Barrera will beat Chavez quite handily. Mark my words.

Chavez is a good fighter, but right now MAB is on a different level. He's as close to his prime as I've ever seen him.

He'll beat Jesus, and if Pac beats Morales the third time, the rematch is gonna be gigantic. We'd be talking about one of the biggest fights in the lower weights in the history of the sport, moneywise.

I don't think anyone will EVER beat Chavez handily...outside of what Mayweather did to him. even in the Mayweather bout, chavez was very game all night and made it difficult for Floyd to execute the way he wanted to.

Also, Barrera has looked good against Peden and Fana because they are extremely limited fighters. The win over Morales was good in their thrid bout, but that was a long time ago. Marco will have a lot of trouble with Jesus.

I would like to see him get by Chavez however, just to further fuel a Pacquiao rematch. Conversely, if Erik and Manny get it on for a third time I hope Erik beats Manny...although there isn't much basis to say he would at this point.

The bad thing about Chavez for Barrera is Chavez' energy level. He has good stamina and brings a high level of energy to the table when he fights. This is much like Pacquiao...who wouldn't let Marco coast when he wanted to at all.

I just don't see Marco doing enough damage to Jesus to slow his attack down later in the fight. I could be very wrong though because Marco has proven that he's as dangerous as ever with his back against the wall.

Good action fight no matter how you slice it.

If MAB loses, Pacquiao SHOULD NOT TAKE A MAB REMATCH! These greats have been using Manny as a stepping stone everytime they lose to an opponent (i.e Morales x2). Pacquiao can go ahead with a Morales trilogy or another Marquez bout. Pacquiao will not gain anything KOing "so called washed-up" Barrera again.

Morales never stopped Chavez. Chavez injured his shoulder and fought most of the 12 round bout with one arm. He had Morales in serious trouble in the first round and hurt himself a few rounds later. Chavez looks very strong at 135, I think way too big for Barrera- who admits that 130 is already too big for his frame.

Agreed ecept for bold. I wouldn't call that "serious" trouble, but he hurt him.

Yea I know Morales didn't stop him, that's my error when I was typing it. I said Mayweather stopped him & I added Morales. I should've said he was stopped by Mayweather & also lost to Morales.

The thing is Morales did beat Chavez. Also I don't think Morales was ever seriously hurt in that fight. I just think Barrera will outpoint chavez, I will be surprised if Chavez stops Barrera.

This is the reason I'm having hard time believing that the Chavez fight is more dangerous then the Pac fight. I think Pac will stop Barrera if they fight again.

didnt morales handle chavez easly at 130? unless 135 is to much wiehgt for the shorter MAB i dont see why he wouldnt whoop up chavez, or was 130 to much drianing for chaves when he fought morales, either way MAB beats chavez and pac, and anyone else to

i see a greater pocket if MAB fight PAC. i can't find any other reason aside from eluding pac for MAB. But between MAB and Chavez, i think MAB would have to adjust due to weight difference. i haven't seen MAB fight at 135 before, i think chavez has a greater edge on this aspect.
