Losing Roach as a trainer for a fight to fight against a more skilled man, whom will be coached by Roach the trainer who knows you very well is not a good move. Do you go back with Roach afterwards or is it too touchy at that point if Pacquiao paints him like most expect?

On the flip-side, Roach is senile and getting old so maybe a new trainer aint all that bad of an idea. If he wins he possibly ends Roach and Pacmans run at the same time while hurling his name into the hemisphere. Not on either side of this fence, just stirring the pot a little.

freddie roach is still one of the best boxing trainers in the business.... i'm pretty sure if roach was senile he would be out of work. boxing helps freddie roach deal with his parkinsons.

theres no tricks to ruslan's game. he fights one way. there's not much top secret info to be found on ruslan that freddie could know

I guess certain boxers can still entertain. Not afraid to duck each other and they have the same trainer. Both are feared. Seems Floyd should fight Broner then....wait, Broner got his A$$ beat and Mayweather WILL "Duck Dynasty"...again.... Both Manny and Ruslan at least have balls, Mayweather's 3" **** can't fit in the mix, he's fighting Khan as the top PPP wannabe. Who fears Khan? What has Khan proven in his last fights? That Virgil ruined him, along with Berto?

Not a bad fight. Ruslan might be limited, but he is relentless and very tough. I don't care that Pacquiao was killing him in sparring, a bloodthirsty Provodnikov could have Pacman counting sheep.

Here you have a guy considered one of the best fighters P4P at the moment about to fight a fighter nobody, outside of hardcore fans, knows and in a match in which you all know with 100% accurarcy what the outcome will be and in the same breath you call this a good match-up. How does that work? Whatever happened to putting on real competitive fights where the outcome can't be so easily predicted. Given Pac's high ranking, and for him to have fought Rois and now this guy (Provo), is sad to say least. The only good thing about this fight is that it will do bad PPV numbers. Oh how far has the mighty fallen.

Good fight, I think Ruslan has a shot at stopping Pacquiao.

provo***ov is a tough good challenge. to say we know the outsome is absurd. I think pac would probably win but prov would keep coming. pac probably wouldn't get the ko bc he doesn't have that ko power at 147 like he did at the lower weight classes. plus. prov has power - it would be a good fight. provodnikov is just as good as maidana in my opinion

ha! actually no. Prov isn't promoted by TR. also, I find this comment hilarious when Mayweather said he reuses to work with TR. how can someone duck Mayweather when Mayweater refuses to fight him. LMFAO!!!
