Everybody knows this potential fight makes good business sense, but not good boxing sense!
I'm a huge fan of Mayweather's boxing. I've been a fan since he was "Pretty Boy". I've admired his boxing acumen and I've always been able to separate that from the persona he developed to become boxing's "villain" and highest paid athlete. That being said, I'm really not a fan of this fight. Khan is not on Floyd's level, but who is that isn't with Top Rank? Thurman is good, but not elite yet. GGG, Martinez etc are too big. Everybody knows even 154 is really pushing it for Floyd. He's just not his best beyond 147. I'd rather he move down to challenge Danny Garcia or fight Pac. There just really aren't a lot of competitive fights for him honestly. Maidana would be fun to promote, but not really an exciting fight. Porter is a good aggressive fighter, but nothing special for Floyd. I truly don't get excited about any of Floyd's opponents.. not even Canelo. I still buy his fights because I truly enjoy seeing him figure a guy out in a few rounds and then take over. Always been a fan of the sweet science and Floyd is definitely the sweetest. I'd only really get excited about Pac because of the long drawn out drama and it's overdue. I really don't believe Floyd is afraid of Pac, he's just too stubborn to give Arum a fat payday. I understand his perspective, but Floyd has to evolve as a man. Move on beyond past transgressions with Bob and be the fighter not just the businessman and fight the fight the fans really want to see. I don't think his legacy is Not sealed without Pac, but it'll always be a huge "what if" for the boxing world if it doesn't happen. Personally, I see Floyd having issues early, but eventually figuring Pac out for a split decision. Amir Khan is an okay in the meantime fight if we get Pac afterwards!

Floyd should be able to finish Khan but he won't because he doesn't take risks. This is a styles make fights type of deal. Khan presents problems because he is big and athletic with good power in both hands...and is very well schooled. I like Floyd to win by decision but if he doesn't hurt Khan early with a nice counter then it could be a good scrap.

u're sir absolutely correct on here. i totaly agree with u on that conclusion.

so according to ur words Mayweather is a great warrior but Martinez with Golovkin ain't and not deserving Floyd's payroll for being pusies to not fighting each other or the guys above.

glad we figured this **** out, bruh

You don't know shyt about Boxing! That would be great GGG should move up. Sergio should take a shot at it as well, but what that means Floyd can't move up and fight them?? So Duran should've never moved up?? Neither should DLH?? Or Pacquiao?? Jones should've never went to HW?? Robinson should have never went to Light HW?? You're an idiot protecting poor little "too small" Floyd?? Dumbass it' Boxing...if you're the best you keep moving up until someone proves you otherwise! Everyone just stay in your natural weight class! Don't challenge yourself! Never move up! Don't fight anyone! And let the sport just die because no one wants to fight anyone in fear of losing! Idiots like this guy is why Boxing has so many problems!

I get what you saying, but hasnt Floyd moved up more than GGG and Martinez combined? GGG and FMJ wouldnt be a great matchup at all. Weight drained GGG vs welterweight FMJ? Thats not the best fighting the best. What we should be discussing is the fact that the middlewieght champ Martinez is fighting cotto instead of GGG.

GGG doesn't know the boxing business at all.
