Mosley gassed, he was an old man in boxing terms coming off a year-plus lay-off. He was gassing against Mayorga two fights prior to FMJ and since FMJ he has lost 3 fights with 1 win and 1 draw.
And still, that old man has a better chin then Khan. I'm not knocking Khan, his offense is pretty good but since we are bring up fights, in Khan last 4 fights he's 2 and 2. He barely got past Diaz.

Thank you. Seems a lot of people have caught the case of amnesia lately. If Diaz can put em down and almost beat him, what do you think the best P4P'r is going to do? Lol
Yes, Amir can throw very fast flurries, but Mayweather will deal with this EASY. If Julio Diaz can handle it, Floyd can. Amir will get KO'd by a checkhook.
I won't be buying the fight but I do agree that kahn will prove to be a tougher test than many think for a couple of reasons. (still think floyd will win obviously)
1. he has a good style to fight floyd - he has a lot of speed (the fastest floyd has fought since ... well who?) and a good jab. So he should land.
2. He gets a lot of stick about his chin and while I agree that it's a weakness it will still take a good solid shot to put him down. garcia hit him with a beast of a shot, so did prescott. maidana landed several bombs and kahn survived and its been a long time since floyd had a legit KO.
I expect Kahn to do surprisingly well in the early rounds and possibly even be pretty much level with floyd after 4 or 5 rounds before floyd times him and possibly ends it with his first KO in a looong time.
I think this fight will be similar to the mosely fight for Floyd. Khan and shane are the same height and have the same reach. the only difference is khan can move but does not have the power of shane. I think it will take the normal 3 rounds for Floyd to time khan and then khan gets picked apart for 9 rounds or gets ko'd by a check hook trying to be too aggressive.
WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin disagrees with a lot of the critics. He says former champion Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) will not be an easy fight for Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs).
There are ongoing discussions to finalize an opponent for Mayweather's scheduled return, on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Showtime Pay-Per-View will carry the fight.

Khan has zero chance of beating Floyd and no one in their right mind believes it or that he deserves a shot. Khan has been sitting on his ass waiting for a fight with Floyd, not out actively fighting the best to get a well deserved shot, just sitting around waiting like a bum for a welfare check. If Floyd gives this fight to Khan make no mistake its nothing more than the equivalent of government charity....
