Bad blood or no bad blood, judging by the buzz this fight is generating already, it should easily be one of the biggest and best fights of the year in 2014.

No matter who wins, it's two fighters who always lay it on the line. Can't see it being boring and it is for the lineal MW title. An exciting and very significant fight, a rare combo nowadays.

No doubt Cotto is tough, and he doesn't duck anyone like Floydie does... but it's just tough to see him getting past Martinez IMO. Sergio has so many odd angles he punches from, good speed and power... I know Cotto has some tools as well, but jeez, at this stage for Cotto, he just won't be able to last 12 solid rounds with Sergio. That's assuming Sergio stays healthy.

Again, I hope Cotto beats the living **** out of him. I would be in favor of Cotto getting close and ****ing his knees a bit to test them out. I can't wait for this fight.
martinez was a 154lber who moved up to 160 because no one would fight him, fought pavlik, williams twice, dzinziruk, barker, murray, chaev jr......who are all bigger then him and whooped them and now you guys talk trash because he is fighting a smaller fighter???

i can tell your new to boxing and ride whose ever **** you can.

so can anyone tell me who the next person sergio is afraid of after he whoops golovkin? the champion you guys ride who has only fought 1 world champion and has yet to be tested by anyone? whats the difference between golovkin and canelo? both had their fighters picked for them. here is a diff, canelo has actually beating more world champions then golovkin HAHAAHAHAHHAHA losers

Martinez entered a boxing gym only recently. And he needs 6 months in order to fight again. Not a good sign.
