    Refereeing while intoxicated

I'm reading Mike Tyson's Undisputed Truth and I saw an interesting statement. Tyson claimed he smelled alcohol on the referee in the first Holyfield fight. Now, I doubt the validity of it, but it made me think. Do refs drink the night of the fight? Should that be banned? And should refs be tested for alcohol and drugs after the fight? Sounds funny, but I'm serious! I think refereeing is just a small part of all the corruption in boxing, but it's a good start. Thoughts?

That ref from the other week looked drunk as hell....Laurence Cole...he looked wasted in that fight.
