Why can't Khan and Porter get it on on the undercard with the winner getting Floyd in September. Thurman can fight on the undercard in May and Sept and if he wins both May of 2015 he has a showdown with Floyd.

Khan is fasting during Sep from my understanding or sometime around that time.

Its May or 2015, Floyd isnt going to change his dates for Khan or anyone

If Amir Khan wouldn't have lost to Peterson, got KO'd by Garcia, dropped and looked like **** against Diaz and in turn would have instead beat and looked good against all those guys then the idea of a fight against Floyd would actually be intriguing but unfortunately that's not the case at this point.

I think a lot of people are factoring in Maidana's Broner win in a 'what if?' scenario a bit too much...Dont get me wrong I would happily watch the fight, but Maidana would NOT do the same to Floyd.

Plus, does anyone else think that if Floyd was to convincingly beat Maidana one fight removed from his Broner win, it could put a bit of distance between the 'brothers' and it could start off the rivalry that some people believe will one day happen seeing that some of the Mayweather's have already rubbed it in Broner's face that he's no Floyd?

JERK!!! Bahahaha. You stole my post right out of my head. This is my theory exactly. I believe Floyd gunna take the Maidana fight (Thank God no A-Mere-Con) and it's gunna make things between him and Broner go sour. Broner's pride and not getting the chance to avenge his loss due to Mayweather squeezing in last minute would be the straw to break the camels back. May has already thrown little jabs, and his dad and uncle have thrown haymakers at AB as well as his team and his trainer. So I can see this all blowing up and the two of them beefing eventually.

I hope it's Maidana because it make a far more interesting build up for the fight, plus I'd love to see the interaction between the camps during the All Access. If Khan get bypassed he'll have no one to blame but himself for pulling a "Bradley"................

Khan is really going to regret not fighting Alexander I think he would of won that fight looked good enough doing so , giving him the momentum going forward.

Now if he dsoesn't get it .. then what just wasted a a lot of time and a possibly easy belt.

you would think fighting in December would give him plenty of time to be ready to fight Floyd in May but problem is he knew that if looks as bad as he did against Diaz he could only look worse against Alexander, whom most opponents look bad against anyway. Imo Alexander likely would've ko'd Khan as would most top Welter weights.

Floyd vs Maidana, I can get behind that. He's a Top 5 WW coming off three decent/solid win at the weight. Khan is straight up bull. If it's him, I won't buy it. Let Khan fight someone like Ortiz next.
