What I really dont understand is, how does Pac being a TR fighter effect Floyd in any way whatsoever? Floyd is going to make what Floyd is going to make from this fight no matter what so what's the problem?
absolutely correct...floyd made many excuses before and arum was'nt one of them. now when pacman agrees to all his demands then suddenly arum is an issue..floyd is the problem.
he always makes an excuse not to fight pacman. floyd is coward.plain and simple

He can break him off a piece of his purse outta the goodness of his heart.
i feel sorry for you parents bruh, raising a ****** must have been very difficult for them

        • I won't do business because Bob Arum was my promoter and did what promoters do to me...

          • so everyone conveniently forgot about mosley and marquez having to leave GBP to fight pacquiao?

nobody wants to deal with arum's scummy tactics and his slave contracts. not showtime, not oscar, not mayweather, not donaire or rigo.

donaire breached his contract not long ago to get the **** away from bob

rigo: “Here is what bothers me, the lack of respect from Top Rank and Bob Arum, who makes jokes in bad taste – like the one where he says that in order to become a superstar Fidel Castro has to come down and promote me or how the people at HBO vomit when they hear my name,” Rigondeaux told George Ebro. “HBO recently paid homage to all of the champions and Top Rank/HBO did not invite me. They say they’re going to give me exposure on this card and that card and then forget those promises. Everything is a lack of respect. Either they promote me or give me back the contract, but I will not accept any more disrespect. I’ve won my titles with great effort and I will not let anything or anyone come and disrespect me. Arum does not treat everyone equally, I have no doubt about that.”

                • If Pacquiao left Top Rank, there would be another reason for the fight not to happen. I already accepted that this fight is not to be.

                  • Chances Manny's Not Going To Re-sign With TR Are 0 - Act I Scene I

(As the scene begins we find Manny pacquiao "MP," and his infernal Lord and Master Bob Arum renegotiating his contract.)

Arum: Well Manny, I think we have one hell of a year if you come back with us. We love you over here, we could have the same deal Manny, it'll be just like before.

(Against the suggestions of everyone breathing around Pacquiao he decides to enter Arum's office alone so all he he has is his press script memorized. Pac starts to sweat as negotiations continue.)

MP: It depends on my promoter.

(Arum is quiet for a second, he reaches into the drawer and pulls out a cigar cutter, still eyeing his clueless mark.)

Arum: Hey Manny, its okay kid its me, we're trying to sign some more papers so we can keep doing what we're doing. I think we're doing pretty good Manny, I even bought you a custom padlock for that house the IRS seized, its pretty blingy Manny.

(Arum erupts in a raspy laugh before he stops abruptly to get to his point.)

                    Arum: Right Manny?

MP: It depends on my promoter.

Arum: Manny, I'm your promoter and we have a sweet deal here for you, are you going to sign it?

(Arum's tone start to get a little elevated.)

                    MP: It depends on....

                    Arum: On What?

                    MP: My promoter.

(Arum slams the desk drawer shut out of frustration, while Pacquiao stares off into space putting together a grocery list to help feed the bottomless gut of Buboy.)

Arum: Alright Manny just sign this paper and we can set up that sixth Marquez fight, heh everybody loves a good fight. (Arum's thoughts: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, I don't even have to try anymore. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....)

MP: It depends on my promoter.

Arum: Okay Manny just sign on the line and get the **** out of my office okay?

MP: It depends on my promoter.

Arum: That's what I'm saying kid. I'll get you another advance to help you out for a couple month, try to make it last Manny.

(Arum snickers and Pacquiao signs the contract then exits the room with the same vacant look that we've come to know and expect. As the door closes.)

Arum: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.......

Rigo got badtalked by Schaefer as well. So did Gamboa and Lara right after Laras most crowdpleasing effort, remember?

But i care about more important stuff, like this Cuban superbantam with unpromotable style (per Schefer) getting interim title shot vs well chosen vet in 7th fight. Then full title shot vs green Haymon client in 9, and tv exposure on ppv undercards despite lack of viewer appeal. Then 750k and shot at p4per in fight 12. Thats a royal treatment, clueless. Ask Lara
