Miguel Cotto: "Sergio Martinez Fights C and D Class Fighters"

Is an old video but there you see sergio begging Cotto for a fight and then the one doing the interview asks Cotto why is someone like Sergio begging for a fight and Cotto says that Martinez needs to ask his team why they are putting him against D, C and B class fighters and not elite.

Wow, I don't think I have ever seen Cotto go hard on someone like that. He is normally the humble type. Still, Sergio would be a favorit against an aging Cotto coming up to 160.
Would be a good fight though.

Look at Martinez resume is full of crap from top to bottom. He moved from 154 to 160 because 160 was garbage and he could make a name there.

Yeah, the top JMWs should just jump the final 6lbs and clear it out.

I thought Sergio moved up because he couldn't get the fights he wanted at 154. 154 is rounding into form now. It wasn't a powerhouse at all when Sergio left it. He went to 160 for bigger fights and a shot at the MW title. Anyway, his resume is fine. He's fought some of the best options at his weight class. The only person of note that he's missing is GGG. The rest of the 160 fighters are b level at best. Plus, he's tried to get fights with Floyd, Pacquiao and Cotto. They just weren't interested.
