yeah he is 38 and it will probably be over a year before he walks again, I saw a vid where that pro wrestler Sid discussed a similar thing that happened to him and it took a year and a half for it to heal so I doubt we ever see Silva in a cage again.

Reminds me of Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor taking out Redskins quarterback Joe Theisman. Years later, I saw Joe walking through midtown Manhattan. He still had a bad limp. Sad to say, but "The Spider's" finished.

broken legs are quite common in mma and kick boxing. That's why they suck.
I just don't get it why people practice those sports. I istantly changed the channel, i didn't even watched the replay. MMA is a sad sport to me. Boxing is about showing your opponent you are better. MMA is all about destroying your opponent, no sportsmanship, just cuts and broken bones.

No that already happened when Anderson was KO the first time by Weidman, this was gross, it was hard to watch, the strange thing is I kept watching the fight saying damn Anderson got some skinny legs like they can snap and than bam it snapped.

There is another guy with skinny legs like Anderson and thats Jon Jones.

Long and skinny legs are not meant for kicking things. There were like several other black mma fighters with long skinny legs who snapped in half when someone checked their kicks, the one that sticks out most was that Cory hill guy. Now Anderson. damn I feel so bad for him. when he lay there in pain, Anderson is one of the humble nice guys in the sport. I hate seeing that man.

I ain't gonna lie I almost cried, he was one of my heros in MMA.

The leg is not meant for kicking, they kick right where the bone can snap. it makes no sense. Its also why I stopped watching kickboxing or MMA, I hate seeing guys leg kick, everytime I watch jon jones or Anderson I keep cringing seeing how super think and long their legs are.

If you are going to strike someone it should be with the knees, elbows or Fists.

              The hard points.

Dude that was a nasty injury, I think his leg was snapped in the thigh area, that was a hard tackle, and they had to shave some of Joe's bone off that is why he has that limp his legs are uneven.

That was disgusting. Just like when that guys leg snapped for Louisville in the NCAA tourney last March. Couldn't watch that twice...
